Brian's place is super clean and cute, with friendly neighbors and an excellent centralized location in a decent neighborhood. You're minutes from grocery and convenience stores if you forgot something, and the space contains pretty everything you would need during your visit. The bed and couch are also super comfy!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It provides a reprieve from the party of New Orleans. If you do not get a rental car expect to pay $17-$30 on an Uber each way to any tourist attractions. Brian is very friendly and willing to provide local insight. We did not utilize this though and decided to explore on our own. There is a beautiful courtyard outside with a playground set and amazing landscaping. Brian provides a full cable service (movie channels included), the bed is comfortable, and the entire place is clean. Safe neighborhood. We were able to walk to a small convenience store. The grocery store is 10 blocks away, walkable. The lake is a 10-15 minute walk away and leads to some walking and bike trails. Directly across the street from a school, other than pick up and drop off time you don't really notice this.

Perfect quiet getaway from the bustle of the French Quarter. Spacious and clean, with all the comforts of home! Great restaurants within walking distance, and a short 15 minute drive into the heart of NOLA. Brian is flexible and accommodating, and very responsive to questions.

Beautiful place, just like the pictures: well decorated, cleen, with everything you'll need. Brian is an excellent host which helped us on every request and questions. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet and cleen. We didn't got a car, but a single ride with Lyft to the French Quarter is about $15. (Uber is more expensive in NOLA). My wife and I enjoyed our stay. We couldn't recommend it more! Thanks.

Brian's place is great! Clean, updated, and just enough space perfect for a weekend getaway for two. The location is great. There's lots of restaurants and stores within a 10 minute drive. And it's about a $15 Lyft ride to downtown during peak hours. I would recommend Brian's apartment to anyone!

Brian's apartment is just as great as it looks in the photos. It's very comfortable, nicely decorated and has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped, too. The apartment also has off-street parking, which is a rare find in NOLA. We really enjoyed our stay!

Where do I start with this review? Brian is the prime example of a super host: friendly and accommodating. My husband and I need a few extra days to hash out all personal items and Brian was so flexible in extending our stay. The place is exactly like the pictures. Everything was extremely clean and fairly spacious for an Airbnb. And the bed was so comfortable. The padded key lock was a bonus so we didn't have to keep up with keys. The neighborhood is great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon. Neighbors were welcoming. If my friends are visiting and looking for somewhere to stay, Brian will be the first person we call. I would support anyone staying here. As you tell from my review, out overall experience was superb.

This was our first Airbnb trip and I can say that Brian made it one of the most comfortable trips we've ever taken! The apartment was decorated with style, super clean and comfortable, just like being at home. Upon our arrival Brian has water bottles and local bags of chips waiting for us, really nice to have a snack after traveling all day. The apartment is far enough away from the French Quarter so that you can chill in quietness, yet close enough to get there quick, like 10-12 minutes. I sincerely hope that the rest of my Airbnb experiences are as good as Brian made it for us. Thanks so much Brian, you're the best host!

Brian was very friendly and accommodating! We went on a weekend trip to New Orleans and this was the perfect distance from the town with great food nearby. Brian was very helpful in helping us find local food to try based on what we were looking for! The place was very nice and near anything we needed. The apartment was great: clean and comfortable with almost new furnitures and accessories. Brian is always available but very discrete. We didn't have a car but we arranged with bus (just 1 mile away) and streetcar to NOLA every day. Definitively I would suggest you to stay here. For Italian users: Appartamento molto bello, pulito e accogliente con mobili e attrezzature di casa nuove. Senza macchina si può arrivare a New Orleans con bus e streetcar facendo solo un miglio a piedi per il primo bus. Brian è sempre disponibile e molto discreto. Consigliato.

Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber,ordentlich und komplett ausgestattet. Eine späte Anreise ist unproblematisch, da man über einen Türcode ins Apartment kommt. Kostenloser Parkplatz vorhanden. Netter Gastgeber, der jederzeit erreichbar war.

Located outside the normal tourist area, this is a well apportioned condo. Owner occupies another unit in the building so it is well maintained. Easy access with no stairs. King sized bed was a little soft for our tastes but bedroom was big with large walk-in closet and attached bath. Perfect for a couple not so much for a family.

Pros: plenty of parking ( not covered), safe quiet area of town, 15 mins to French Quarter, 3 mins to supermarket, very clean, washer and dryer inside apt, provided shampoo and conditioner. Cons: the floors are not well insulated and you can hear the neighbors talking , walking and closing/opening doors.

I loved how clean, safe, and comfortable this unit felt, and I had it all to myself. I could walk around barefoot without worry, the floors and rugs felt great, loved the cafe table with the high chairs, and the little courtyard with the lime trees and flowers. Quiet neighborhood also. I had trouble getting because in the dark and couldn't remember the codes, but Brian guided me right through and also recommended some nice places for dinner. I was only disappointed I couldn't get the tv on, which could've been me. I got to park under the trees in the shade. All in all, a nice peaceful experience after a long day. Would go again.

Great location for what we were looking for. we felt very safe. This place is a great escape out of the craziness of downtown, but still close enough to get around to everything easily. Brian's place was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect for my family- far enough outside the city in a quiet area but close enough to get to major attractions in 15-20 minutes. The outdoor area was a pleasant surprise, and my daughter enjoyed playing on the swing set. We spoke with a neighbor who was very nice and helpful (as we did have a little trouble opening the lockbox when we arrived). We didn't get to meet Brian since he had just left for a trip earlier that day, but he had everything set up for us perfectly, and he was always just a text away. This was my first Airbnb experience, and the bar is now set pretty high. We'd definitely stay here again. Thanks, Brian!

Very nice spot here for those heading to New Orleans but wishing to reside in a quieter part of town. Our host, Brian, was very generous and accommodating. Everything we could have possibly needed was accounted for within the residence (with bonus chips and bottled water on the house). For those wondering about Metairie's proximity to New Orleans—downtown and the French Quarter in particular—it's actually super accessible. We drove ourselves into downtown New Orleans each day of our stay and travel time probably hovered around 20 minutes or so, which seems to go by fast. Regarding our residence, here's the breakdown: The good: Fast and reliable internet, cable television, large bed, hot shower, soap and shampoo provided, clean house, super easy and always available parking, full kitchen (fridge, stove, basic kitchenware). The bad: Nothing. Very positive stay.

We had a wonderful experience staying at one of Brian's apartment. It was one of the nicest airbnb rentals we've had. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. The location was great. We had a rental car and found it easy to get to around everywhere. Brian was quick to answer our questions and was there to help us out when my husband locked us out of the apartment one night. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Brian helped make our excursion to New Orleans fruitful. The ease in which Brian communicated with me prior to the visit as well as on our trip was much appreciated. The condo was as described and beautifully decorated. The only exception was the 2nd bed, it was in the condo but not ready for use. Other than that the condo was located to allow easy access to the highways and the life in Metairie as well as being in a safe neighborhood. My mother and I fully enjoyed our stay at Brian's condo and would come back again to enjoy his hospitality as well as his home. Thank you for making our trip a success.

The apartment was just as it was pictured. It's very nice and CLEAN. We were not disappointed. The bed is pretty comfortable. We took an UBER when going into the city and the ride cost us 16-22 dollars, which is a good deal. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever to be in NOLA.

Very safe/convenient location, easy to access everything we wanted to do: French Quarter, Magazine Street, Plantation Tour (Nottaway). Visited with my husband and two daughters (18 and 21). Plenty of space with girls sharing the sofa bed.
